| Kathy Farace - Secretary / Vice President Programs Director Kathy was born and adopted in 1961 and has resided in Southern California all of her life. Graduating from H.S. 1979, Kathy worked in the Real Estate Loan and Escrow business as an officer for 4 years. She then stopped her career and raise her three children, Nathan, Eric and Sarah.
While home-schooling her kids she began working with a Christian Youth Performing troupe as a Music/Dance teacher, co-writing many musicals and performances which were preformed throughout the Southern California area for 7 years. Kathy then worked for Calvary Chapels private elementary and H.S., where her children attended, as a Music/Drama teacher and the Guidance Counselor for the senior high grades. Her teaching skills and experience set the stage for additional work with counseling and youth programs. In 1996 Kathy became the Youth Pastor for the Junior/Senior High School students at Vineyard Community Church in Pomona. In this role she became a public speaker on youth issues, the dean and director of the youth summer/winter camps for several churches including a camp in Venezuela, youth/parent counseling and developed many youth programs and bible curriculums for kids. She is currently a Grief Counselor/Chaplain for Odyssey Hospice serving the San Bernardino/Riverside counties and resides with her husband John, and the youngest of their 6 children, Jordan. Kathy's oldest son is a United States Marine deployed to Iraq in July 2007 and is the recipient of the Purple Heart. Kathy’s community service includes Faith Community Church, Vineyard of the Victor Valley and the Turning Point Church as music and youth leader, as well as building homes in Mexico and caring for the homeless in her neighboring communities.
Kathy now serves as the Secretary, Vice President and Programs Director for the Dad’s Club Inc. and looks forward to using her abilities to serve the needs of kids in CA and throughout the nation. |
